About Me
My name is Elissa Freemire, I am currently finishing up my undergraduate degree at Sterling College studying Graphic Design and Christian Ministry. During my time studying for my undergrad, I was able to gain experience through working in the Sterling College Marketing Department as a photographer, as a designer and as the editor for the Sterling College Yearbook, I also held internships with Christ Community KC Church and Basehor United Methodist Church working with their communication and marketing departments, I also worked as the publicist for the Sterling College Campus Activities Board. My work focuses on practical design; design for the everyday, design that will interest anyone and can be read by everyone.
As an artist, I seek to make everything functional, whether that be a logo for a nonprofit, a poster for an event, or an email design; I believe that design is for everyone and should appeal to everyone in one way or another. As a designer, my faith has played a key role in my work, as a Christian I believe that everything I do; interactions with coworkers and clients as well as everything I create should reflect my faith and love for Christ. |
